. . . Sun Devils . 26. team. 512

Outgoing transfers: Jay Heath, Jalen Graham

Incoming transfers: Desmond Cambridge (Nevada), Devan Cambridge (Auburn), Warren Washington (Nevada), Frankie Collins (Michigan)

The Sun Devils lost four of their five leading scorers from past season, with the exception of the injured Marcus Bagley. He and combo guard DJ Horne are the key returning pieces but the team needed a lot more to get out of the mid-tier of the Pac-12.

Among the four newcomers were a pair of brothers in Desmond and Devan Cambridge. Desmond is a 6’4 sharpshooter that averaged over 15 ppg at both Nevada and Brown, while Devan started at Auburn in the past couple of years and is a solid rotational player that can also shoot.

To upgrade at the center position and replace Jalen Graham is Washington, a 7’0 big man that averaged 10.5 ppg and 6.6 rpg. He started out his career at Oregon State and didn’t play much off the bench but should have a bigger impact in his second go-around.

The key to Arizona State next season will be the play of Frankie Collins, a former top-100 point guard that didn’t play much at Michigan last season. Without Marreon Jackson, the starting point guard position is wide open and if Collins can take over and play well, this team’s backcourt will be one of the best out west.
