Michigan Wolverines

The Wolverines are currently in play for five-star point guard Isaiah Collier, which would be a great start in the 2023 class. They’re also looking for a frontcourt player, in case All-American big man Hunter Dickinson elects to leave after his junior season. The team does have top-50 freshman commit Tarris Reed, Jr joining but with the other Big Ten programs all in pursuit of Booker, the Wolverines might as well do as well.

Under head coach Juwan Howard, Michigan has made the Sweet 16 and been ranked. They’re a program that has allowed Dickinson to be on the national stage and the same thing can happen to Booker. And based on how the roster is shaping up for the future, the big man can also be a focal point of the offense like Dickinson was as well.

Michigan State Spartans

The Spartans are all in on the five-star big and they’re in desperate need of a star frontcourt player. The center position for them currently is occupied by top-40 freshman Jaxon Kohler, along with retuning backup, Mady Sissoko. Booker would be an upgrade over both and the chance to play for Tom Izzo would be too good to pass up.

He’d be part of a potentially great class, with current top-30 guard commit Jeremy Fears, as well as in contention with wing Devin Royal. Getting a quality recruit from all three main positions would be what the program needed after a disappointing offseason after not landing any transfers.
