Prediction

If I had to predict what school Bronny James is going to, I would say he is going to USC or UCLA. Both schools are great basketball schools and highly touted universities. I would be not surprised if Bronny James went to Michigan as well. I do not think he is going to Ohio State or Oregon just based on the fact that they do not offer the same level of education that USC, UCLA, and Michigan offer.

Finally, I will say that a lot of news surrounding Bronny James recruiting is very strange. Bronny James is a kid who is one year older than me. Although I do not know him personally and have no idea what he is feeling about his decision, I do think a lot of articles surrounding his recruitment are very toxic for the teenager.

While it is kinda hypocritical to write an article about where he is going and speculate on his recruitment in said article, I do feel that there is a right way to do this story. I feel that this is the proper way to write a story like this. If anyone from Bronny James camp somehow ends up reading, please let me know if this article offends your camp in any way.

It be would for the best if Bronny James didn’t have to deal with the constant press. Although it is probably for the best, recruiting has taken on a life on its’ own. Although it is a good thing that recruiting has taken on a life of its own (as it leads to exposure for kids who don’t live in recruiting hotbeds and allows more people to follow their dream of working in sports), sometimes the attention can be way too much for teenagers.

I will end this article by saying that I encourage all journalists (not saying that all of them haven’t) to be kind to all highly recruited athletes, as mentally all the spotlight might be a little too much.
