Projected Starters

Guard – Will Richardson (Senior)

Last year’s leading scorer, Richardson was Second Team All-Pac-12 and should again be the key playmaker on offense. He averaged 14.1 points and 3.6 assists per game last season and has made just over 39% of his 3-pointers in his career. He’ll need to be a bit more consistent this season in leading this Ducks squad after turnovers were a bit of an issue last year.

Guard – Jermaine Couisnard (Senior)

Couisnard spent the last three seasons playing at South Carolina, averaging double-digit points in each of those campaigns. He’ll transition into a key role in the backcourt for the Ducks and they’ll be depending on him to provide an offensive boost, especially with some of the pieces this team lost from last year.

Forward – Quincy Guerrier (Senior)

Named Third Team All-ACC two years ago with Syracuse, Guerrier now enters his second year with the Ducks after a solid start last season. He averaged 10.1 points and 5.3 rebounds but battled injuries early in the season. Now healthy, the Ducks are hoping to get another step forward out of Guerrier, who shot just 32% from long range and wasn’t as effective overall as he was with the Orange.

Forward – Kel’el Ware (Freshman)

A five-star elite prospect with great potential, Ware is the big addition from the freshman class and he should have quite an impact with the Ducks. He’s got great size and length at 7’0 though he’s still developing his tools and talents. He’ll become a fantastic piece on both ends of the court with that size and extended wingspan, though we’ll have to see how he’s utilized early by the Ducks.

Center – N’Faly Dante (Senior)

Dante led the Pac-12 in interior shooting last season and continues to develop into a formidable force in the paint. He struggled to stay on court due to injuries early in his career, but this 6’11 big man from Mali averaged 8.1 points and 6.3 rebounds last year. Expect those numbers to improve yet again.
