10. Frankie Collins – Arizona State Sun Devils

2021-22 stats (at Michigan): 2.8 ppg and 1.4 apg

The former four-star prospect didn’t do much last year, playing on average of 11 mpg off the bench in front of a pair of senior guards in Eli Brooks and Devante Jones. But due to injury, Collins did start an NCAA Tournament game, going for 14 points and six rebounds in the win over Colorado State.

Now at Arizona State, Collins has already been declared the starting point guard and will have the keys to the offense. There’s plenty of scoring talent surrounding him and the former Wolverine has already shown that he can score. Now we’ll see if Collins can consistently run the offense at a high level.

9. Will Richard – Florida Gators

2021-22 stats (at Belmont): 12.1 ppg and 6.0 rpg

Despite Belmont already having a core of quality returning players, Richard still managed to carve out a large role for himself as a freshman. Despite being the 3rd or 4th option at times, the 6’5 guard had 23 double-digit scoring games, including 23 points and nine rebounds versus Samford. He shot 47% from the field and is a versatile defender as well.

Now at Florida, Richard will play at multiple positions and has the kind of all-around game that should translate to the SEC level. He’s already used to playing with a star big man and big-time passer so he’ll be right at home with Colin Castleton and Kyle Lofton.
