No. 13 Auburn vs. Saint Louis, November 27, Auburn, Alabama 3:00 pm

The final stop this week is in Auburn, Alabama as the No. 13 Auburn Tigers play host to the Saint Louis Billikens on Sunday.  Bruce pearl’s team lost a couple of key big men in Jabari Smith and Walker Kessler this summer but did bring in Johni Broome from Morehead state to try and fill the void. The 6-10 sophomore is averaging nearly a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds and has fit seamlessly with junior guard and leading scorer Wendell Green Jr.

The Tigers have been strong defensively so far this season holding teams to just 58 points per game. That will certainly be tested against a 4-1 Saint Louis team that has netted 81.4 per game including 91 against Murray State and 90 in a win over Memphis on Tuesday.

This is a big game for Travis Ford’s team outside the game with Maryland, which didn’t go well at all, this is their only contest against a power-five school and their best chance at a quad 1 win before conference play. With a healthy Javonte Perkins and one of the best point guards in the country on Yuri Collins to go along with four guys averaging double figures, the Billikens have at-large potential so any quad 1 win, especially on the road would bolster those chances.
