2. Which team has been the biggest disappointment so far?

Bernstein

Loyola Chicago has been the biggest disappointment so far in the young 2022-23 season. The Ramblers were picked to finish fourth in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll; however, their transition to the league has not gone how they anticipated. They have dropped their last four games and are still seeking their first win in conference play.

Cronin

VCU. The Rams have their most talented roster in years but none of their young players have made strides offensively and the team has fallen off a bit defensively, thanks to a need to play more offensively inclined players to survive.

Leddecke

Saint Louis for sure, relative to expectations. It’s hard to give up on them because of their on-paper talent and the glimpses they’ve shown in a couple of games, but they are just really lacking in intensity and swagger right now.
