NCAA Basketball: Kendric Davis, Antoine Davis headline Players of the Week

Power conference nominees for Player of the Week
There are not nearly as many Power 6 teams as there are Mid-major programs but that does not mean that those players were short on explosive games and huge weeks. There was a slew of great games to go around last week.
Souley Boum- Xavier
Boum is playing like the best transfer in America right now. He is the sole reason that Xavier is undefeated in the Big East.
Win over Creighton- 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists
Win over Marquette- 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
Kyle Filopowski- Duke
The freshman big man has been playing a lot better as of late and had his breakout this last week. We now know what he is capable of.
Win over Pittsburgh- 28 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block
Loss to Clemson- 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 1 block
Marcus Sasser- Houston
The frontrunner for the American Player of the Year just so happens to be the team leader of the best team in the country.
Win over South Florida- 31 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists.
Jaylen Forbes- Tulane
Forbes is usually the best player on the floor every night and he let everyone know about it last week.
Win over SMU- 31 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals
Win over Central Florida- 27 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals
Kendric Davis- Memphis
The guard may only be 6’0” but he is one of the best pure scorers in basketball. He can score 40 points every night.
Loss to Central Florida- 42 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals
Win over Temple- 20 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
