15. Indiana Hoosiers – 20-9 (11-7 Big Ten)

This was going to be a very difficult week no matter what for the Hoosiers, having to take on both Michigan State and Purdue on the road. First up was the Spartans, who Indiana didn’t have an answer for on the defensive end.

The final score was an 80-65 loss for the Hoosiers, getting doubled up from the three-point line (10-5). Trayce Jackson-Davis had a good night statistically, producing 19 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Jalen Hood-Schifino had 16 points, while Trey Galloway also was in double figures with 11.

Indiana had the chance to redeem itself against a Purdue squad that had been struggling as of late. The road team was trailing at halftime but Hood-Schifino ended up putting on a masterful performance on the night, scoring a season-high 35 points to lead the comeback for a 79-71 victory. Both Galloway and Miller Kopp each had 15 points and while Jackson-Davis was limited to 10 points, he also chipped in with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Indiana now returns home for the final two games of the season, taking on Iowa and Michigan. The battle with the Wolverines will be one to watch, as they’re desperate for another big win to increase their at-large hopes.
