13. Tennessee Volunteers – 21-8 (10-6 SEC)

The Vols have had a slow descent from being one of the best teams in NCAA Basketball to struggling as of late, especially on offense. After losing to Kentucky last weekend, Tennessee was on the road at Texas A&M, who became the new second-best team in the SEC.

It was a close game throughout but Tennessee once again ended up on the losing side to make it 4 losses out of 5 games. The final score was 68-63, with Zakai Zeigler leading the way with 14 points. Santiago Vescovi had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists in the defeat.

The good news is that the Vols went back home to take on South Carolina, a team they had already beaten before, 85-42. But after nearly beating Alabama earlier this week, could the Gamecocks put up a tougher fight? The answer was no, as Tennesse dominated them once again, 85-45. Five were in double figures for the winners, led by 18 points off the bench for Joshiah-Jordan James.

The Vols look to end the regular season with some momentum and maintain its strong seeding position as a 2/3 seed. But they have a couple of solid defensive teams coming up in Arkansas and Auburn, with the ladder being a road matchup.
