11. Kansas State Wildcats – 22-7 (10-6 Big 12)

After an important win against Iowa State to snap a 4 out of 5 game skid, Kansas State got a massive win at home over top-10 Baylor to start the week, 75-65. They were trailing at halftime but a strong offensive effort in the second half gave them the victory.

Keyontae Johnson led the way with 25 points, while Markquis Nowell had 14 points and 10 assists. They were able to win the game with just 4/21 shooting from three-point range and allowing the Bears to make 11 on the night.

The next game was on Saturday against Oklahoma State, a team who could get a huge victory for its resume since they’re on the bubble. It was a game they needed at home and played like it, keeping it close for just about 40 minutes. But in the end, Kansas State was able to pull off the 73-68 victory. Nowell had 22 points and eight assists, with Johnson adding 17.

Now with three straight wins, the Wildcats look to add to it with two winnable games left on the schedule in the regular season. Oklahoma at home is up first, followed by a road trip to West Virginia.
