NCAA Tournament 2023: Power ranking of top 100 players overall from the field

50. Jordan Brown – Louisiana
One of the Sun Belt’s best players, Brown is an impactful center who came to the Ragin’ Cajuns after time at Nevada and Arizona. He’s really emerged this season, averaging 19.4 points and 8.7 rebounds a game, getting First Team All-Sun Belt honors. Not only did Brown lead the conference in field goal percentage, but he was named Sun Belt Tournament MVP and has had some incredible performances this season, including a 26-point, 20-rebound outing against Marshall.
49. Tajion Jones – UNC Asheville
A five-year starter for the Bulldogs, Jones has been an impactful presence in Asheville for half a decade, averaging 15.0 points and 5.2 rebounds this season. Not only was Jones named First Team All-Big South, but he’s the conference’s best shooter, leading the league with his 45% mark from long range; he had 24 points in their Big South title game win against Campbell just over a week ago.
48. Mike Bothwell – Furman
Year five at Furman has been the best for Bothwell, who not only has put up 18.0 points a game but helped lead the Paladins finally back to the NCAA Tournament. The best scorer in the SoCon, Bothwell had a 35-point performance at the end of the regular season and pairs with Swanson to be an impressive 1-2 punch for the Paladins.
47. Keyonte George – Baylor
An outstanding part of Baylor’s great backcourt, George was named Big Ten Rookie of the Year after an impactful freshman year for the Bears. He averaged 15.8 points and 4.2 rebounds a game. Nobody put up more 3-pointers in the Big 12 than George and he had a career-high 32-point outing against West Virginia earlier in Big 12 play.
46. Tyger Campbell – UCLA
UCLA’s starting point guard for a fourth straight year, Campbell has been one of Mick Cronin’s most important weapons since arriving on campus back in 2019. This season, Campbell averaged 13.6 points and 4.7 assists a game, earning First Team All-Pac-12 honors for a third straight year. Not only is Campbell one of the nation’s best point guards, but he also had a 28-point performance against Oregon in the Pac-12 Tournament last week.
