Love’s highest point total came against the Crimson Tide, so the opposing coaching staff is very aware of him. They also have one of the top scoring offenses in NCAA Basketball (7th overall) and will have some retooling to do. Projected top-5 NBA Draft pick Brandon Miller is moving on, while senior guard Jahvon Quinerly could very well go pro as well.

Alabama has a few guards left that could stick around in Jaden Bradley and Mark Sears but without a clear-cut wing designated for 30 mpg, they could easily use some three-guard lineups to make it work.

What makes this spot a potential landing spot for Love is that Coach Nate Oats seems to have a system friendly for all kinds of players offensively. The former UNC guard would have both a green light and a quality supporting case to play off of. And if Charles Bediako isn’t going anywhere, it’ll be up to the perimeter players to produce offensively next year.

Not all teams are going to have an offense that works well for Love and if he has to change too much, it’ll limit how effective he’ll be at his next stop. That likely wouldn’t happen at Alabama, who’ll need a 20 ppg caliber scorer to replace Miller.
