Arkansas Razorbacks

As the power conference “hometown” option, Arkansas makes arguably the most sense for Ware. He was a high school teammate of Nick Smith, who was one of the top players on the team this past season. Although Smith is likely going to the NBA, this is still a destination spot for transfers since we know Coach Musselman loves adding newcomers.

There’s a strong chance that the twins, Makhi and Makhel Mitchell, both move on after this season instead of taking a 5th year. There isn’t much size on the roster elsewhere, although five-star freshmen frontcourt player, Baye Fall, is a good athlete that can play at the four-spot. If Ware wants to go back home, the Razorbacks will be the favorite.

Florida Gators

Maybe Ware wants to leave the west coast and come back to the Southeast but not necessarily to Arkansas. There are plenty of other programs that could be in the mix, including in the SEC. Florida is one of them, who’ll be moving on from star big man, Colin Castleton.

There’s literally nothing proven in the frontcourt outside of him, so expect the team to add multiple guys. This is an option that makes sense because Ware can not only be a clear starter but also a potential focal point of the offense. If he performs well at the SEC level, Ware’s draft stock will go right back up.
