NCAA Basketball Vanderbilt Commodores guard Jordan Wright Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports /

16. Jordan Wright – Vanderbilt to LSU

2022-23 season stats: 10.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 2.1 apg

The 6’5 guard/wing is a versatile player, starting 74 games and scoring in double figures in each of the last two years. Wright has 11 games with at least 15 points, including a stretch of five games at the end of SEC play. That includes a 23-point effort in a win against Kentucky, along with 15 points and 15 rebounds versus LSU.

Speaking of LSU, that’s Wright’s new home in his final season of eligibility. The Tigers were the worst team in the SEC last season and have lost a lot of talent this offseason already. The good news is that they picked up Jalen Cook (more on him later) and now a proven SEC contributor in Wright on the wings.

15. Noah Reynolds – Wyoming to Wisconsin

2022-23 season stats: 14.5 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 2.1 apg

Due to injuries and midseason roster departures, Reynolds ended up being the biggest beneficiary individually. He played just 19 games and started 10 but was still second on the team in scoring and shot 48% from the field. The 6’3 guard sophomore had a stretch of five straight games with 20+ points, including a career-high 30 against Santa Clara.

The Badgers are in big need of offense as one of the lower-scoring power conference teams. Reynolds, whether as a starter or 6th man, can create his own offense and would be a nice fit next to Chucky Hepburn and Connor Essigian in the backcourt.
