Memphis Tigers

Having lost both Alex Lomax and Kendric Davis, a case could’ve been made that Memphis needed a veteran ball-handler. But they got that already in Caleb Mills, a combo guard transfer from Florida State. He’s not really a point guard but the team originally had a pair of incoming freshmen who were in Mikey Williams and Ty-Laur Johnson.

However, Memphis has not only parted ways with Johnson but they also may not have the five-star guard Williams after a recent arrest for gun charges. They can use one more ball-handler and it would be a nice spot for Dennis to play at and have some national attention as well.

Miami Hurricanes

One of the best backcourts in NCAA Basketball this past season was Nijel Pack and Isaiah Wong, which led the Hurricanes to a Final Four appearance. However, Wong, the ACC Player of the Year winner, is now off to the NBA. Pack is still around but he’s more of a combo/off-guard.

There’s a spot for a point guard if Miami wanted to make a push and Dennis is someone that could thrive at the ACC level. Coach Jim Larranaga has a great history with guards and transfers overall and while it would be a small backcourt, he and Pack would work well together.
