The Wildcats were a major storyline in the past week but for the wrong reason. They reportedly were the heavy favorite to land Creighton transfer point guard Ryan Nembhard as soon as he entered the portal but instead, lost him to regional rival, Gonzaga.

So not only does Arizona need to find another ball-handler but the power forward position is still wide open. Azuolas Tubelis, who led the team with 19.8 ppg and 9.1 rpg in an All-American campaign, has entered the NBA Draft and early indications are that he’s not coming back.

There are some young options that can replace him such as Henri Veesar and Dyland Anderson but they aren’t the kind of talent of Holland. And in just two seasons, head coach Tommy Lloyd has more than proven himself as an offensive mind, leading one of the best scoring offenses in all of NCAA Basketball.

Holland would be next to quality starter Oumar Ballo and a good young point guard in Kylan Boswell. But more importantly, the five-star freshman forward would be the focal point of the offense and get plenty of opportunities to showcase his skills. In that system, Holland could very well replace what Tubelis did offensively if this pairing were to happen.
