6. Kellan Grady

A Top 100 prospect from the class of 2017, Grady was definitely a highly-anticipated addition for Bob McKillop and Davidson and he lived up to the hype. A 6’5 wing from Boston, he was one of Davidson’s studs from the first moment he stepped foot on campus, putting together quite the career with the Wildcats before spending his fifth year at Kentucky.

Already a major threat as a freshman, that season saw Grady average 18.0 points a game and lead Davidson to the NCAA Tournament, putting up 16 points in a first round loss to Kentucky, his future team. He had a career-high 39-point explosion that season against St. Bonaventure and was an offensive guru for the Wildcats. He averaged at least 17 points per game in each of his four seasons and shot just under 37% from beyond the arc in that time.

Unsurprisingly named A-10 Rookie of the Year in 2018, Grady was a four-time All-A-10 honoree, getting First Team honors as a sophomore and senior. He was a Top 5 scorer in the league in each of his seasons, helming a Davidson offense that won a ton of games during his time on campus. As previously mentioned, this sharpshooter did spend his final year with the Wildcats of Kentucky but certainly had quite the legacy with these other Wildcats in the A-10.
