16. Angel Delgado

Delgado was among the Top 50 prospects in the Class of 2014 but opted for Seton Hall. A 6’9 center originally from the Dominican Republic, Delgado would become a major part of the Pirates’ success over the following seasons, spending four years starting in Seton Hall’s frontcourt and winning plenty of games in the process.

As a freshman, Delgado was already averaging 9.3 points and 9.8 rebounds, quickly establishing himself as one of the league’s best rebounders. The following year, he helped get Seton Hall to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in a decade by winning the Big East Basketball Tournament. By junior year his numbers had increased, now averaging 15.2 points and 13.1 rebounds per game in a dominant campaign. He had four different 20-rebound performances as an upperclassman included in his final career game, with 24 points and 23 rebounds in a Tourney loss to Kansas.

He was Big East Rookie of the Year, First Team All-Big East as a junior, and the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award winner as a senior. He led the entire nation in rebounding during that massive junior season and retired as one of the nation’s most prolific rebounders in history. Delgado had decent production on the glass, was unstoppable as a rebounder, and helped Seton Hall to three straight trips to the NCAA Tournament.
