No. 17 Dalton Knecht (Tennessee)

You usually do not hear much coming out of Northern Colorado, but Dalton Knecht has changed that for the Bears, and now brings his talents to Tennessee and the Volunteers.

Knecht was quite the exciting prospect for a team to get in the transfer portal this offseason, and for Tennesse, they get a player who received a ton of hype. He was 23rd in the nation in scoring with 20.2 points per game and played well in the painted area grabbing 7.2 rebounds every night.

His presence is one that surprised a ton of people, and his three-point shooting can be relied upon with a 38.1 percent shooting clip. Knecht’s efficiency was also great with 47.9 percent shooting from the field, Tennessee got a good one here, and he may turn some heads when the season comes around.

Now the adjustment to SEC ball is going to be interesting to watch, but he has the size at 6’6 200 lbs, so the adjustment should be seamless after some solid nonconference play once the SEC season comes around.

Knecht will be a transfer to follow this upcoming season, and he could be the piece that puts Tennessee over the top, and back to where they once were.
