9. Colorado Buffaloes

We’re entering the part of this piece where teams are including top-10 overall prospects that are expected to have big upcoming campaigns. That includes Colorado, who has Cody Williams, a player that 247sports has ranked as No. 4 overall. He’s the younger brother of Jalen Williams, a star at Santa Clara that ended up drafted in the lottery to the OKC Thunder.

Cody is an elite two-way small forward, listed at 6’8 with measurables that pro scouts will love. Williams is an excellent slasher to the basket with a mid-range game and is also capable of making three-point shots. He’s set to be the starting wing for Colorado and form a three-headed offensive monster with KJ Simpson and Tristan Da Silva.

There are three other incoming freshmen, including three-star prospect, Assane Diop. He’s a 6’10 center that has plenty of potential in being an interior defender and will provide backup to TCU transfer and projected starter, Eddie Lampkin Jr.

Forward Bangot Dak and guard Courtney Anderson Jr. are also three-star prospects and long-term pieces for the program. They likely won’t get a ton of early playing time but on a roster that likely will have some turnover a year from now, keep in mind their names for the future.
