25. Jon Davis

A 6’3 point guard from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Davis was an impactful backcourt piece for Charlotte in the late 2010’s. While the 49ers teams he played on didn’t exactly win a ton of games, Davis was still a very impressive player on the court in many facets for Charlotte.

He started all but four games in his collegiate career and already averaged in double figures as a freshman. That scoring jumped to 19.6 points per game as a sophomore, including a 35-point game against Old Dominion. As a junior, he averaged 5.5 assists per game and really turned his offense on at the end of the season. During his senior year under new head coach Ron Sanchez, Davis averaged 21.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game with decent shooting numbers around the court.

Perhaps due to Charlotte’s struggles, Davis settled for a pair of Second Team All-CUSA honors, but he was a fantastic scorer throughout his time in the league. His 2113 career points sits behind only a few people in the conference’s history and he was among the league leaders in assists each season. Charlotte won just 41 games in Davis’s four seasons, but that doesn’t take away from his dominant player for the 49ers.
