NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Analyzing top 8 teams for 4-star Jaiden Glover
St. John’s Red Storm
New head coach Rick Pitino has already added a ton of talent to the roster, including on the wings. But if you exclude those that have just one year of eligibility left, there’s only Oregon State transfer Glenn Taylor, former UMass guard RJ Luis, and Brady Dunlap, four-star wing. That’s still depth that Glover will have to contend with but it’s doable, unless St. John’s adds even more next offseason via the transfer portal.
Seton Hall Pirates
The Pirates have a pair of solid incoming freshmen on the wings in Isaiah Coleman and David Tubek. It’ll help rebuild the offense once Al-Amir Dawes leaves but Seton Hall needs more than that in order to compete in the Big East. Glover would be able to do that and can play close to home, having a potentially large role on the team as soon as his first year.
Villanova Wildcats
The lone freshman Villanova brought in for next season in Jordann Dumont, a three-star wing. The team could certainly use more from the 2024 class, as they’re definitely losing the likes of Tyler Burton, Hakim Hart, and Justin Moore after the next season.
This, like other Big East options on the list, can offer Jaiden Glover plenty of playing time. But Villanova is the biggest name out of everyone involved and if they get back to being a national power in 2024, will be difficult to beat on the recruiting trail for this and other prospects.
