Ivy League Basketball: Ranking of 25 best players from last decade (2013-23)
By Joey Loose
17. Evan Boudreaux
Boudreau is a 6’8 forward originally from Lake Forest, Illinois. He became a young star in the Ivy League when he chose to begin his collegiate career at Dartmouth in 2015. He’d star and play a major role for the Big Green for two years before opting to transfer to Purdue for the back end of his collegiate career.
The Big Green didn’t do much as a team during his time on campus, but Boudreaux was an excellent weapon for the program. He averaged at least 17.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game in both of those underclassman seasons, with decent shooting numbers as well. He scored 25 points at Seton Hall in his first career game and would have a 22-point, 18-rebound game against Cornell late in his freshman season. His numbers would be fantastic and far surpass anything he accomplished at Purdue.
Boudreaux finished as one of the top scorers and rebounders in each of those two seasons, earning him Second Team All-Ivy honors for both of those years. Across the board he had pretty great numbers, not only becoming the best rebounder in the league but also among the most efficient scorers as well. Boudreaux didn’t win a lot of games while at Dartmouth, but he made his mark as he could and also set himself up for that future success in the Big Ten.
