9. Justin Turner

A 6’4 combo guard from Detroit, Turner experienced a fair bit of success, spending his college days at Bowling Green. He arrived back in 2016 but redshirted after barely playing during his freshman season due to an injury. Over the course of the next four seasons, he’d develop not only into an elite backcourt weapon in the MAC but into one of Bowling Green’s best players in program history.

Turner’s redshirt freshman year saw him average 15.9 points per game, with decent steals numbers and excellent production after coming back from that injury. His Falcons won at least 21 games in each of the next two seasons, with Turner offering more than 18 points a game in the process. After the pandemic, he returned to Bowling Green for his senior year and averaged 19.3 points, 4.4 assists, and 4.3 rebounds, including a 33-point effort against Buffalo early in the season.

Revered in Bowling Green’s program, he became the Falcons’ all-time leading scorer with his 2077 career points. He was one of the best scorers in the MAC and earned First Team All-MAC in each of those final three years. Turner played a major role in Bowling Green’s offensive success and has clearly gone down in history, both with his alma mater and with the MAC’s best scorer.
