8. Jordan Minor

Minor is a 6’8 forward from Kingston, Massachusetts who has been an important part of the Merrimack program since they joined the NEC and D1 athletics back in 2019. He ascended into a principal role for the Warriors in these last three seasons and was been a paramount part of their success in this league.

After decent production off the bench as a freshman, Minor took a big step forward after the pandemic began, averaging 12.0 points and 8.1 rebounds in his sophomore year, his first as a starter in that frontcourt. Minor had a few 20-point performances in that sophomore season and was even better as an upperclassman. A double-double machine, he averaged 17.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per game by his senior season and helped lead Merrimack to the NEC Tournament title to finish off the season.

Minor had a really good run at Merrimack, nabbing All-NEC honors in his last three seasons. Senior year was clearly the high point, not only taking the Warriors to those conference titles, but winning NEC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors in the process. He was the league’s best rebounder and shotblocker and was one of the most efficient NEC bigs throughout his career. Minor will spend his fifth and final year of eligibility at Virginia next season.
