Small Forward/Wing

Starter – Tramon Mark (24 mpg)

Tramon Mark moves from the Big 12’s Houston Cougars into the fold in the SEC with the Razorbacks. He’ll look to bring a similar pedigree to the small forward/wing role. The 6-foot-5 wing averaged 10.1 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 1.8 apg, and 1.1 spg on 32.8 percent shooting from deep and 39 percent shooting from the floor this past season at Houston. His defensive rating (91.3) ranked third in the AAC as well. He’s a player who’s continued to improve on his all-around game on the wing while playing for a top-ranked squad already. He looks to bring a similar vibe to a Razorbacks squad that really lacked energy at times in 2022-23.

Bench – Khalif Battle (10 mpg), Jeremiah Davenport (6 mpg)

Khalif Battle has a good chance to add a Sixth Man of the Year award to his cabinet with this Arkansas squad in 2023-24. Look for him to log more minutes at the small forward/wing spot given his penchant for crashing to boards and knocking down shots of his own from 3-point range. He knocked down 2.9 3-pointers at a 35 percent clip this past season for the Owls.

Jeremiah Davenport is the third name that should see minutes at the 3-spot. Much like the shooting guard role, he’ll most likely share minutes with Battle here, too.
