Power Forward

Starter – Isaac Traudt (20 mpg)

Isaac Traudt should emerge as a candidate to start at the power-forward role for Creighton. He joins the Bluejays after redshirting this past season with the Virginia Cavaliers. He’s a former Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year who averaged 23.1 ppg and 8.3 rpg as a senior out of Grand Island Senior High.

Given his size at 6-foot-10, he’s got the ability to be quite the high-low threat in the rotation with Ryan Kalkbrenner at the other frontcourt spot blocking a ton of shots. As long as he can defend and rebound, he’ll remain on the floor. If he can adjust to the Bluejays style of play, he’ll be in the starting rotation come November.

Bench – Mason Miller (16 mpg), Brock Vice (4 mpg)

Mason Miller is an emerging forward on the roster that should stretch the floor when he’s in the game with his shooting stroke. He shot 37 percent from 3-point range this past season and should battle in the frontcourt for minutes this season. He’s a 6-foot-9 sharpshooting threat and the son of former NBA sharpshooter, Mike Miller. Brock Vice has probably been the biggest surprise out of their newcomers. His ability to rebound and attack the basket could get him some minutes in the rotation.
