11. Takayo Siddle, UNC Wilmington

Siddle, who is only 37 years old, jump-started his coaching career at Hargrave Military Academy under current NC State coach Kevin Keatts. After spending time as an assistant at NC State from 2017-2020, Siddle returned to Wilmington and has led the Seahawks to two back-to-back 20-win seasons including a CBI Championship in 2022.

If Siddle can get the Seahawks in the NCAA Tournament, this is most certainly a name to watch out for. As he enters his fourth season leading UNC Wilmington, do not expect Siddle nor the Seahawks to slow down any time soon.

10. Todd Simon, Bowling Green

Todd Simon inherited a rather ugly mess at Southern Utah, taking over a program that went 28-90 in four years of the Nick Robinson era from 2012-2016. Incoming the Todd Simon era, where he gradually increased Southern Utah’s win total from a 6-win season in his first year to leading the Thunderbirds to three straight 20+ win seasons from 2020-2023.

A Michigan native, Simon now returns to his Midwest roots with hopes of leading Bowling Green to new heights. For a program that has not made the NCAA Tournament since 1968, Todd Simon is likely the answer to end that 55-year drought.
