Bottom Line: Can This New-Look Lineup Turn the Tides?

After Jay Wright’s run of four Final Four appearances and two National Championships, this team has the chance to kick off Kyle Neptune’s own era of success at Villanova.

This summer, the team addressed their shortcomings of 2022-23, boasting arguably the strongest transfer window for any team in the Big East. If this team is able to gel early on and withstand the key departures of Cam Whitmore, Caleb Daniels and Brandon Slater, look for the Wildcats to once again contend at the top of the conference.

Villanova is set to open the season as a +3000 longshot to win the National Championship. While still a long way away, the Wildcats have sneaky-good value for a team that brings back over 52 percent of it’s offence paired with some new faces that will add an extra layer to this team’s scoring schemes.

TLDR: Bank on ‘Nova to bounce back this season, although that’s not asking much following the disappointment of last year.
