25. Milos Uzan – Oklahoma Sooners

2022-23 season stats: 7.6 ppg and 3.0 apg

The 6’4 guard became a full-time starter after 10 games, playing alongside Grant Sherfield in the backcourt. Uzan has a season-high nine assists against Central Arkansas (along with 0 points), as well as 20 points and five assists in a loss to Kansas State. The sophomore will have more backcourt depth to compete against, including Siena transfer point guard, Javian McCollum.

24. Derrian Ford – Arkansas State Red Wolves

2022-23 season stats: 0.7 ppg and 0.5 rpg

The 6’3 guard was limited to just 16 total points in 21 total games but the former top-100 prospect was simply buried on the depth chart behind a trio of five-star guards + multiple transfers. Ford has a great chance to put up huge numbers in the Sun Belt this season as the likely focal point of the Red Wolves offense and be a threat for an all-league spot.

23. Ty Rodgers – Illinois Fighting Illini

2022-23 season stats: 3.3 ppg and 4.0 rpg

Rodgers is an interesting player in that he’s a 6’8 versatile guard that Illinois reportedly is going to play at point after the team couldn’t land a transfer ball-handler this offseason. When Rodgers got extended minutes last season, he had a few double-digit scoring games, including 14 points and seven rebounds against Michigan. He may not be the best player on this list, but Rodgers could be the most important when it comes to how good Illinois can be overall.
