Wake Forest Overall Outlook

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will be a very interesting team to watch this season, especially if they avoid the traps of the last year. Steve Forbes has had the Deacons rolling in the past two years compared to the last ten seasons for Wake and if he wants to keep taking steps forward he must make the NCAA Tournament in 2023-24. The returning talent and new players coming in might be Forbes’s best team in his 4 seasons at Wake, and the Deacons cannot squander it.

Wake Forest will need to continue to have a stylish offense and win games in the clutch if they want to have a good season. While also not going on these losing streaks that plagued them last year, and losing to bad teams won’t help their case either. Losing to teams like Boston College won’t help you getting to play basketball in March.

If Wake Forest can keep the train rolling and continually do what they’ve been doing the past 2 years while also improving on it, they will look good in the ACC. It will be hard to not see the Demon Deacons being in the top 1/3rd of the ACC next season, especially with Steve Forbes at the helm.
