12. Boston College Eagles - 15-10 (6-8)

The Eagles had one of the worst offenses in the ACC coming into last week but they managed to produce two of their top three scoring efforts at home to get two big wins. The first was an 89-77 win over Louisville, with six players in double figures. Claudell Harris Jr. finished with 20 points while Quentin Post had 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists.

The bigger win was on the weekend, beating Miami, 85-77. Post had 23 points but it was Mason Madsen who led the way with 25 points. With three wins in the last five games, Boston College is now just two games back of 4th place. They’ll have to find a way to win on the road now, with Florida State and NC State up next.

11. Miami Hurricanes - 15-11 (6-9)

At one point, Miami was ranked 8th in the country. They’re now 12th in the ACC Basketball standings, having lost four straight games. To their defense, the first three losses (Virginia, Clemson, UNC) can be forgiven. But giving up an ACC regulation-high of 85 points in an 8-point road loss to Boston College isn’t.

The Hurricanes aren’t in the NCAA Tournament field and they may need to beat both Duke and North Carolina to even have a shot. If they can’t defeat the Blue Devils at home on Wednesday, then the season will basically be over for them.
