Oakland’s Travis Bader Had a Rather Good Shooting Night

facebooktwitterreddit

Last night’s matchup between Summit foes Oakland and South Dakota State may not have had a lot of buzz before the game, but there was quite a bit of it after the game.

That’s because Oakland sophomore guard Travis Bader knocked down 10 triples on just 14 attempts and finished with 37 points in leading the Bears over the Jackrabbits (still one of the best nicknames in sport) by a final of 92-87.

As expected, it was an Oakland school record, although with the way Bader has been shooting the ball this season, it’s a record he could break at any point. The 10 three outburst topped his previous season high of eight.

And who did that come against? South Dakota.

So basically, if you’re a college basketball team located in the state of South Dakota, you may want to guard Travis Bader.
