Recruiting News: Nerlens Noel Joins 2012 Class

The college football world was dominated yesterday by National Signing Day, but there was also some big news in the college basketball recruiting world as well.

Nerlens Noel, a 6’10” center that was regarded as one of the top recruits in the 2013 class, decided to reclassify and join the 2012 recruiting class.

If you want to know how good Noel is, it’s worth mentioning that it is possible that he moves up and claims the number one spot in the 2012 class. He’s good enough that he could replace the current man in that spot, Shabazz Muhammad.

So yeah, the kid’s pretty good.

And with this move obviously comes a ton of speculation as to where he will land. UConn, Georgetown, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, Syracuse, and Providence are all in the mix as things stand right now.

Yes, it is possible that John Calipari and Kentucky could land both Muhammad and Noel. That’s a scary thought.

Where do you think he winds up? Let us know by voting in the poll below!
