NCAA Tournament 2012: South Florida Rolls Temple 58-44

facebooktwitterreddit

It certainly wasn’t the prettiest game that’s been played in the 2012 NCAA tournament, but South Florida will take it as they took care of Temple in Nashville, 58-44.

The Bulls had already defeated California a few days ago in Dayton and will now move on to meet the 13-seed Ohio in the next round on Sunday.

If you missed this game, then don’t worry about going back and catching it on a replay. Temple led 19-15 at the half which should probably tell you all you need to know about how this one played out.

South Florida managed to break things open in the second half and in the end, neither team shot over 36% in the contest.

Victor Rudd Jr. and Anthony Collins each scored 17 points for Stan Heath‘s squad and we’ll see how they fare on Sunday against a Bobcat team coming off of a huge upset win over the Michigan Wolverines.
