The Indiana Hoosiers received another Class of 2018 commitment today, this time from four-star small forward Damezi Anderson.

Today is the day that Archie Miller and the Indiana Hoosiers have decided to take over the college basketball world.

Miller and the Indiana program, just a few minutes removed from receiving a commitment by four-star, Class of 2018 small forward Jerome Hunter, have picked up another four-star Class of 2018 player in Damezi Anderson.

A 6’7, 205-pound small forward out of Riley High School in South Bend, Indiana, Anderson is rated as a four-star recruit from the Class of 2018 by most sites. On the outside looking in to the ESPN Top 100, it would not surprise me if he snuck his way in by this time next year. 247 Sports has him rated as the No. 91 player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 25 overall small forward.

One thing that Indiana wanted from their new head coach was a splash, and it looks like they have it. Miller is absolutely killing the recruiting trail and building for the future – especially today.

That being said, Hoosiers’ fans want results, too. They recruited well in the past under Tom Crean and the players sometimes never panned out. If these players pan out, Indiana could have a stranglehold on the Big Ten for years to come.

Will it happen? You never know, but Indiana is clearly on the right track and hired the best man for the job. This season might not be great for the Hoosiers, but the future is extremely bright.
