Arizona basketball is one of the top recruiting programs every single year. Which prospects are on Coach Miller’s radar in the 2020 class?

There are very few programs that have been as consistently successful on the recruiting trail as Arizona basketball in recent years. Under the leadership of head coach Sean Miller, the Wildcats have snagged highly-ranked recruiting classes just about every year. Additionally, the coaching staff has put together some very successful seasons as a result of their recruiting even though they have not experienced a Final Four appearance in the Miller-era. Nonetheless, their scouting deserves to be commended as they are always a dangerous program in whichever recruiting battle they decide to join.

With regards to the 2020 class, the coaching staff has made tremendous inroads with a number of highly-rated players. The ‘Cats have already secured a top-50 small forward prospect in the form of Dalen Terry as a building block for the class and they are certainly looking to add more. At this point in time, it seems as though Arizona is in a strong spot with 10 different prospects in the class. They might not be the favorite in each recruiting battle, but the Wildcats are always dangerous.

This is especially true when you consider that Arizona is widely expected to be a top-25 team in the country during this coming season. Even though the program lost Brandon Williams to injury, their incoming freshman backcourt of Nico Mannion and Josh Green looks poised to carry the team to success. Those two are also both expected to head to the NBA after just one season, so a few of the players we are going to discuss here could be their heirs in the starting lineup.

Now, without any further ado, let’s dive into Arizona’s top prospects in the 2020 recruiting class, starting with their lone early commit.
