Because this year’s freshmen class is as stacked as a stripper’s tip money after work, some of the freshmen aren’t getting as much pub as they normally would. Much in the same way a bit player on a TV show might not be as famous as their co-stars. Yup. You guessed correctly. We have a Zach Morris/AC Slater/Lisa Turtle/Screech Powers/ Saved by the Bell situation in the realm of college basketball.

Aaron Gordon is a really good player for the Arizona Wildcats. If you live on the east coast, though, you haven’t heard nearly as much about him as some of his freshmen brethren. As of print (it’s not print, though, it’s digital!), Gordon is averaging nearly a double-double with 13 points per game and 9.1 boards per.

Dustin Diamond used to be kind-of-famous. Like, he was on a hit picture-box program as a child. He wasn’t one of the biggest names on the show, however. I mean, he was a major, important and vital character in the show, but almost everyone but him got all the attention — and, truth be told, no one wanted to be Screech, everyone wanted a gigantic cell phone thing and be like Zach.

Now, I am not saying Gordon is destined to make a weird, definitely not worth watching adult-video, but he’s not getting even close to the amount of attention he deserves. I mean, if you took away Screech from Saved by the Bell what do you have, The OC in middle school?

Please, for the love of the Internet’s already full database of x-rated selfies, pay more attention to Gordon.
