What is the AAC?

JN: The All-Arescoe Conference. The conference that is pretending it matters before its best programs leave for greener pastures. The program whose commissioner adds his own tears as the creamer in his morning coffee. I have everything about the AAC. Next question.
BLW: Oooh, I love Balderdash! It is the Atlantic Archaeological Coalition, right? Actually, the AAC is playing some pretty good basketball, and I think some genius at Busting Brackets wrote about this recently.
JM: An old, wooden ship built in the Civil War era. In all honesty, it’s a beefed up version of yesteryear’s Conference USA. It’s not bad, but I don’t think they’ll ever be a power conference…depends how much longer Larry Brown has at SMU. For what it’s worth, they’re probably better than the Big East.
