Reds Still Dancing:
Everyone’s favorite Cinderella, the 11-seed Dayton Flyers, sport red uniforms. One remaining school has a nicknames that is an actual shade of red — the Stanford Cardinal. The top seed in the West Region, the Arizona Wildcats, feature red (and blue) in their uniforms as does their opponent in the Sweet Sixteen, the San Diego State Aztecs.
The Iowa State Cyclones‘ colors are cardinal and yellow gold, though you’re likely to find them and their fans donning the red hue more often.
Bo Ryan‘s Wisconsin Badgers are known for their red as well, which they appropriately call “Badger red.” They’ve looked as solid as anyone in the tournament and are a legit title threat, if they can get past the Wildcats of Arizona. Louisville fans will be sure to pack Lucas Oil Stadium with red on Friday as they take on their in-state rival Kentucky Wildcats, whose fans will likely counter with seas of blue.
These seven teams still dancing have accounted for 14 of the 16 red wins (North Carolina State had one in the First Four and Harvard won their second round game)
