California Golden Bears +3000/300-1 – Cuonzo Martin was a huge winner in recruiting bringing in Jaylen Brown, who is the No.4 freshman player in the country, and getting Bay Area grown talent Ivan Rabb, who is the No.7 freshman in the land, to stay in the Bay and play for the Golden Bears.

This should easily be the best team that the Golden Bears have had since the 1993 California team that featured Lamond Murray and Jason Kidd.

That team made it to the Sweet Sixteen after knocking off a Bobby Hurley led Duke Blue Devils squad

Martin is adding two talented freshman to a roster that has experienced backcourt talent in senior guard Tyrone Wallace, who led the Bears in scoring and rebounding last season averaging 17.1 points and 7.1 rebounds, and Jabari Bird who put up 10.5 points and shot 36.9% from three-point land.

The Cal Bears are going to be a threat to win the PAC-12, and have the size and talent to be able to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

The only reason not to drop money on the Golden Bears is the fact that it is hard to go from not making a postseason tournament, to winning the NCAA crown the very next year.

Therefore keep your money, unless you think that California is going to make history like their professional East Bay neighbors, the Golden State Warriors.
