Arizona Wildcats +2800/280-1 – Now this is a team that might be worth taking a flyer on. Coach Sean Miller has been on the verge of knocking on the door for the NCAA crown a few times and he has to breakthrough at some point.

He was ousted last season in the Elite Eight by a very good Wisconsin team that ended up stopping the Kentucky Wildcats aspirations for an undefeated season in the Final Four.

Gone from last seasons Wildcats’ squad are stud forwards Stanley Johnson and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson who were both taken in the NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets respectively.

U of A is also without point guard T.J. McConnell and forward Brandon Ashley. But Coach Miller has the fourth best recruiting class in the land coming to Tucson.

Freshman 6-foot-8 forward Ray Smith is a stud recruit who is going to be an impact player for the Wildcats from the time he hits the campus. He is viewed as a possible first round draft pick by NBADraft.net.

6-foot-5 shooting guard Allonzo Trier is another 5-star recruit that is going to be a big time player in the Arizona backcourt who is a Top 20 prospect the same as Smith.

The Wildcats are also going to benefit from incoming 6-foot-9 forward transfer Ryan Anderson transferred to the Wildcats after toiling with ACC cellar dweller Boston College.

Sean Miller has a new squad and is going to have some teams to navigate through in the PAC-12 with California, Oregon, UCLA, and Utah gunning for his Cats’.

But those battles should have his team ready for the NCAA Tournament, and they could make there way into the Final Four where anything can happen.
