It was a dominating win that got Maryland headed in the right direction during Big Ten play. It was the second-largest margin of victory against a DI opponent, and four players scored in double figures. The bench was firing on all cylinders and produced 31 total points.

Anthony Cowan had a standout performance by recording 12 points, three rebounds, six assists, three steals, and a block.
