2. Wisconsin – Won 71 – 56

Michigan played well against Wisconsin all season. They split the regular season matchups and lost by only four in Madison. By the time they met for the third time in the Big Ten Tournament championship, the Wolverines were red-hot and matched up well against the Badgers.

They limited Wisconsin to just 39.3 percent shooting and only put them on the line eight times. Three Wolverines scored 15+ points and had six or more rebounds. It capped off a great finish to the conference season and tournament and punched their ticket to the Big Dance.
