No. 6 Cuonzo Martin, Missouri Tigers

Missouri is Cuonzo Martin’s fourth head coaching stop. The former NBA wing has had mild success at each of his previous three stints. Martin is 186-121 in nine years though he only has posted a losing season once.

The 45-year old spent the past three seasons at California. The Golden Bears went 21-13 this past season, but they did not receive an NCAA Tournament bid. Martin had a 62-39 record in three seasons at Cal.

On March 15, Missouri made Martin their seventh head coach since legendary coach Norm Stewart retired in 1996.  Martin replaced Kim Anderson, who went 27-67 over the last three years with the Tigers. Missouri has not made the NCAA Tournament since 2012.

However, Martin appears to have Missouri heading into the right direction. Martin has the No. 7 2017 recruiting class coming in per ESPN. He also has two commitments from the class of 2018.
