Tulane

Alright, before you jump on me, I know this is a stretch, and I know it is probably never happening.

Why would Robinson leave a Conference USA program to go to an AAC program that would likely lose to several Conference USA teams? It doesn’t make sense, and I would have to agree with you.

However, hear me out.

Robinson is from Louisiana, and, with the 2018 NBA Draft a clear possibility, he could go to the Green Wave and remain close to home while bringing a lot of positive attention to a growing college basketball program without ever playing.

If he wants to stay and play a season, that’s fine too. Competition like the Connecticut Huskies, Cincinnati Bearcats, and Wichita State Shockers is much better than praying that you can defeat the MTSU Blue Raiders and make the NCAA Tournament.

If not, he can practice and learn from a former NBA general manager and NBA Coach of the Year while waiting to head off to the NBA.

This is the part where you probably said to yourself, “what?!”

In case you don’t pay much attention to Tulane basketball – which I would bet money you do not – the head coach of the Green Wave is former Los Angeles Clippers general manager and NBA Coach of the Year with Portland Mike Dunleavy Sr.
