Fresh off an NCAA tournament appearance, Arkansas and head coach Mike Anderson look to go into the 2017 season building off of the successes of last year. The incoming freshmen hope to help Arkansas achieve back to back tournament appearances.

Daniel Gafford: This bouncy four-star prospect should come in and play right away for Arkansas.  He played for the Nike EYBL AAU team the Arkansas Wings.  At 6’11” and ranked No. 33 by the Rivals site, Gafford should play a key role for this team in 2017.  His senior year in high school he averaged 17.4 points, 16 rebounds, 7.7 blocks, 2.5 steals, and 1.4 assists. He was a rim protector and a scorer in high school. Arkansas hopes that translates to college as well. Arkansas has three other recruits to add for the 2017 class but none of them were ranked in the top 200.
