Key Reserves

When Issac Copeland is cleared to play one of the starters presumably will eventually move to the bench, making that player also a key reserve.

James Palmer Jr. – Junior

The transfer from Miami finally gets his chance to show the nation how he can play. Palmer was used sparingly at Miami before transferring to Nebraska. The former top 50 recruit should turn a lot of heads when he first steps on the floor.

Nana Akenton – Freshman

Nana the pride of Bolingbrook High School. He was notably referred to by Rivals.com as the greatest shooter they have ever scouted. Nana is also an explosive athlete and has one more than one dunk contest in his high school days.

Thomas Allen – Freshman

Thomas made a ton of threes last year between High School and AAU. He played for a prep school in Brewster Academy that went undefeated in their High School season. Thomas should play an immediate impact for the Huskers as capable shooting off the bench.

Anton Gill – Senior

As Anton recovers from the knee injury he had last year, him taking the floor for the Huskers will be huge. Anton has played for coach Rick Pitino and Louisville and would be the only other senior on the Roster besides Evan Taylor. His leadership on the floor and on the bench as a healthy player will really help a young team.
