Kansas: Devonte Graham

Who the best Jayhawk player is from this past season is up for debate. Kansas was loaded with talent, especially on the interior with Udoka Azubuike and on the perimeter with Devonte Graham. But when considering the tournament run, Graham was clearly the MVP for this elite team.

The guard was the true leader of the team all season, as the senior from Raleigh made plays by himself and created opportunities for his teammates. Scoring 87 points in five games this tournament, Graham was in double figures every tournament game.

In his lowest scoring game of the tournament, an overtime victory over Dukte in the elite eight round, Graham only contributed 11 points, but pitched in six assists and six rebounds to aid the effort. He also played all 45 minutes of that game, a testament to his versatility and toughness.

In the most difficult games with the most on the line, the senior was at his best for the Jayhawks. Even when Kansas struggled in their final four game against Villanova, Graham led the way with 23 points. Even when taking all of the talent on the team into consideration, Graham stands out as the MVP.
